As voters consider 2024 ballots at local, state, and national levels, we’re highlighting the issues that #PennSP2 faculty view as priorities from the perspective of their research. Today, Research Assistant Professor Aviv Landau discusses the issue of health care.

Also co-director of SAFELab, a research initiative affiliated with the Annenberg School for Communication and SP2, Dr. Landau focuses on developing and implementing interdisciplinary computational and social work approaches. His main topics of interest are health disparities, child abuse and neglect, ethical artificial intelligence, social media, social justice equity, natural language processing, developing clinical decision support systems, and qualitative methodologies.
