DUAL DEGREE PROGRAMS
Enhance your degree through transdisciplinary study
The School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) places great emphasis on transdisciplinary study and believes that you can become the most effective scholar and practitioner when exposed to a variety of perspectives and approaches. Students are encouraged to consider incorporating a dual degree within SP2 or from one of Penn’s other 11 professional and graduate schools into their course of study.
SP2 also welcomes students who have begun their studies at other Schools to add a Master of Social Work, MS in Social Policy, or MS in Nonprofit Leadership to their course of study.

“SP2’s dual MSW/MSSP program provides students with a well-rounded education and ensures they are critically interrogating issues of race and economic inequality through fieldwork while preparing students to meaningfully enter policy discussions. I believe my experience at SP2 was made even richer through my dual coursework.”
