Event Details
In the international development and humanitarian aid space, a major shift toward locally/community-led organizations has been gaining traction over the past couple of years. For example, USAID has promised to allocate 25% of funding to local organizations in the countries where it works by 2025. This Lunch and Learn Talk will look at the major opportunity this shift presents for systemic change while also assessing the barriers that could limit the success of this shift with a specific look at local and diverse leadership strengthening.
This event is open to NPL students, alumni, and practicum partners.
