Mai Le, JD, MSW
As part of this leadership role, Mai engages in strategic planning of all components of the MSW Program, including both daily and long range operations. She strategically advances, coordinates, and oversees the program, including adherence to accreditation standards and guiding budgetary decisions. Mai initiates and leads the development and evaluation of innovative curricular programming, including classroom and practicum-based learning, and ensures quality improvement processes in all aspects.
Previously, Mai served as the Associate Director of Academic and Professional Success at Temple University School of Law, where she directed the school’s academic success programs, external experiential programs, and professional success programs. Prior to that, Mai was the head of the forensic department at New York County Defender Services, a public defense firm in Manhattan. There, she oversaw cases for indigent clients in New York County Criminal and Supreme Courts. Mai received her bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and her law degree and master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Her interdisciplinary background and experiences serve as a valuable lens with which she approaches her role.
