Husel is a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice. His research interest focuses on global poverty, climate change adaptation, environmental justice, urbanization, and family well-being. Husel holds a Bachelor of Law in International Politics from the University of International Business and Economics in China and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work. Before pursuing the PhD, he worked at the Center for Research on Fathers, Children, and Family Well-being at Columbia University.
