As voters consider 2024 ballots at local, state, and national levels, we’re highlighting the issues that #PennSP2 faculty view as priorities from the perspective of their research. Today, Associate Professor Abby Ross discusses the issues of public health and health care.

Also an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine, Dr. Ross seeks to develop and implement evidence-based interventions that both improve youth and family well-being in pediatric health settings and advance equity within youth-serving health systems. Could democracy be strengthened by a broader framing of the concept? Hear #PennSP2’s Katherina (Kat) Rosqueta discuss the impact of “year-round, everyday work” beyond election day during the first 2024-2025 SP2 Speaker Series event.
