Aai Ceu Flyer

On March 13, 2:30-4:30PM via Zoom, Dr. Alexis Walsh will be joining SP2 to provide a CEU presentation regarding Animal Assisted Therapy/Interventions in social work settings. This will include gaining knowledge of program development, training, and infusing additional evidence-based practices while working with a variety of animals. Dr. Walsh will present examples of AAI programs in vast settings such as schools, private practice, and job/life skill programs that she has developed. Note that as students you will not receive CEU credits. Dr. Alexis Walsh is a dedicated mental health professional with over a decade of experience in the field. Her journey in the realm of mental health has been characterized by a commitment to community well-being and innovative approaches to therapy. In the pursuit of her vision for holistic well-being, Dr. Walsh founded Constanta Wellness & Healing. This organization seamlessly incorporates her vast skill set, evidence-based practices of animal-assisted interventions, elements of care farming, and nature based wellness experiences. Through this initiative, Dr. Walsh offers the community a dynamic counseling opportunity, one that fosters healing and personal growth, in an environment that is truly unique and transformative.
