Event Details
We are excited to continue our One Book discussions of Disability Visibility: First-Person Stories from the Twenty-First Century edited by disability rights activist, Alice Wong. The book is an anthology of essays by individuals with disabilities. It describes the complexities of their everyday life experiences and presents a diverse perspective often missing in conversations in and out of the classroom.
We will continue the discussions of the Disability Visibility in school-wide, cross-program One Book discussion groups. These will occur either through Zoom or in-person for all interested students, faculty, staff, and alums. We are hopeful that these discussions will continue to build social connections within the SP2 community and deepen our understanding of issues pertaining to social justice.
