Shana Merrill is a practicing clinical genetic counselor specializing in qualitative assessment of the psychosocial impact and utility of genetic medicine and technologies. She has worked as a clinical genetic counselor for the Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia for over 8 years and prior to joining Penn, worked as a prenatal genetic counselor for Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. Ms. Merrill has a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience from Lafayette College and a Masters of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro.
