Sarah Trotta, DSW, LCSW
Dr. Sarah Trotta is a licensed clinical social worker and is a graduate of SP2’s MSW and DSW programs. She maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Center City and is a candidate in psychoanalysis at NYU’s Postdoctoral Program in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. Sarah’s clinical work focuses on supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence, and she uses a psychodynamic framework to ground her practice in feminist, anti-racist, queer, and abolitionist theories. Sarah’s teaching invites students to explore the impact of oppression, identity, and culture on clients’ psychological development, relational patterns, and clinical presentation.
