Saida Heywood, LCSW
Saida Heywood, LCSW, is a clinical social worker with extensive experience in collaborative care within the Perelman School of Medicine Center for Mental Health. During her career, Saida played a pivotal role in evaluating treatment modalities for patients dealing with opioid use disorders and concurrent mental health conditions in primary care settings. With a strong background in addiction treatment delivering brief behavioral interventions and providing patient education she has made significant contributions in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Saida holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from West Chester University of PA and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Excitingly, she has recently assumed the role of Associate Director of Practicum Education for the School of Social Policy and Practice, marking a new chapter in her distinguished career.
