Rebecca Tamayo, MSW

  • Becky Tamayo is the Community-Engaged Professional Education Administrator at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. She works collaboratively with the MSW, MSSP, and NPL Programs to provide leadership in advancing SP2’s capacity to enhance its evidence base of student community-engaged learning, strengthen program quality, develop community partnerships, and expand SP2’s impact in Philadelphia.

    Becky has been a member of the Penn community since 2008. She received her BA in Psychology and Hispanic Studies from the College of Arts and Sciences and her MSW from the School of Social Policy and Practice. Before returning to SP2 in this role, Becky supported students and alumni as part of the Graduate and Professional School Advising team at Penn’s Career Services and held various positions championing mental health and wellness in the community through direct care, aftercare planning, case management, and peer support.
