Leslie A. Daniels, MSW, LSW
Leslie is the Director of Practicum Education for the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice MSW Program. Leslie earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Howard University and her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Leslie’s Social Worker career includes: direct service with children and families, out of home placements with pregnant and parenting adolescents, medically fragile infants and young children, maternal and child health, and trauma informed services with children and adults. Leslie has provided professional development workshops for social workers and early childhood education professionals; she has also developed Practicum Education Seminar Courses for an online MSW program. Leslie previously worked in undergraduate and graduate social work programs as an Associate Field Education Director and Faculty member. She has also been a Civic Engagement Faculty Fellow through the Chancellor’s Office on Civic Engagement at Rutgers University-Camden, NJ.
As the Director of Practicum Education for the University of Pennsylvania SP2 MSW program, Leslie will guide foundation and advanced social work students in their preparation as professional social workers. Leslie will work collaboratively with her SP2 colleagues to develop quality practicum placement opportunities for SP2 MSW students. Leslie will represent SP2 as a member of the Delaware Valley Field Directors’ Consortium and she will develop community partnerships with community agencies on behalf of the SP2 Master of Social Work program.
