  • Lara Rogers Krawchuk, MSW, LCSW, MPH is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice and the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health. Her clinical social work practice experience has been largely concentrated in healthcare, including positions in a variety of in and outpatient oncology, hospice, and cancer wellness organizations. Presently, she owns Healing Concepts, LLC; a private therapy practice in West Chester, PA, offering counseling, consulting and continuing education related to caregiving, chronic and life threatening illness, grief, living losses, professional compassion fatigue, stress management, transition to college, and trauma. Mrs. Krawchuk lectures nationally on a broad array of subjects related to cancer, compassion fatigue, end of life, grief, loss, and physical illness. She has contributed to numerous print publications and wrote four chapters for two separate books on Techniques of Grief Therapy, edited by Robert Neimeyer, PhD. Her popular professional continuing education retreat; When Helping Hurts: Self-Care for Helping Professionals, was featured in the recent documentary Portraits of Caring: Their Passion, Their Pain.
