Kathryn Woolford, MSEd
Kathryn (Katie) Woolford is a lecturer in SP2’s MSSP program. Katie has ten years of experience working in human services research and evaluation with a special interest in education-related programming. In addition to lecturing, Katie is a Senior Data Analytics and Systems Officer at the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Children and Families. In this role, Katie is responsible for managing the evaluation and data management of multiple City-funded programs, including out-of-school time, Community Schools, education support services, adult education, and early childhood education. She also has experience managing data and reporting for Philadelphia’s Department of Human Services, which includes child welfare and juvenile justice services. Prior to her position in the City, Katie was a Research Associate at Research for Action, a Philadelphia-based education policy and evaluation nonprofit. Katie has also served as a lecturer in Temple University’s Master’s in Public Policy program. Katie’s education background includes a Bachelor’s degree from Haverford College and a Master’s degree in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education.
