Joelle Lingat

Joelle is a dual degree MSW and NPL student at SP2. They graduated from Oberlin College with a majors in Environmental Studies and Comparative American Studies; a minor in Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies; and a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies. They received their JD from CUNY School of Law and has spent the past few years providing legal representation to low-income immigrants facing detention and deportation. Joelle is appreciative for the opportunity to continue their studies in service of social justice and people’s movements.
