
Elicia Gonzales, MSW, MEd
Elicia (pronounced eh-lee-see-uh) Gonzales is a queer Latinx who holds Masters degrees in Social Work and Human Sexuality Education from Widener University. She currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania teaching a course for the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Policy called Suppforting LGBTQ+ Individuals Across a Lifespan. Between 2017-2023, she proudly served as the Executive Director (ED) for the Abortion Liberation Fund of PA, an organization that since 1985 has worked to ensure and expand abortion access now and always through direct service and community organizing. Elicia formerly served as ED for GALAEI (pronounced: gahh-lay): a queer Latinx Social Justice Organization and adjunct professor for Widener University’s Center for Human Sexuality Studies. Elicia served on the boards for Bread and Roses Community Fund and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern PA, was a founding member of the Philly Pride Collective, is the co-founder of the SEXx Interactive Collective, and was a former appointed member of the Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs. Elicia lives in Philly with her amazing wife and furry pet children, and is originally from Denver, Colorado.
