Breanna Sheehan is a Master of Science in Social Policy (MSSP) and Nonprofit Leadership (NPL) dual degree student and a Social Justice Scholar. In 2020, she graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Anthropology and Native American Studies.
Prior to attending Penn, Breanna worked at The Volunteer Lawyers Project in Boston as a project manager under the statewide COVID Eviction Legal Help Project, and most recently at The Bronx Defenders in The Center for Holistic Defense which provides legal technical assistance to public defense offices across the globe. In addition to this, Breanna is an active member of her tribal community especially in matters related to cultural preservation, revitalization, and community wellness.
After graduating, Breanna hopes to return to her ancestral homelands to support the ongoing cultural revitalization and community development efforts of her tribal community and strengthen social welfare policy and programs on a local and state level.
In her free time, Breanna enjoys beading and crafting, reading, and spending time with her cat Weez!
