
Alisa G. Shockley, PhD
Alisa Shockley, PhD, is a geographer and West Philadelphia native whose research focuses on the experience of gun violence and space among Black Women co-victims. She teaches the course MSSP 7300: Community Mapping, and also teaches courses at Temple University. She holds a doctorate in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University, a Master of Science degree in Geography from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the Pennsylvania State University.
