Adiza M. Ezell, MSW

  • Adiza M. Ezell is the Director of Admissions and Recruitment at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2). Ms. Ezell earned her MSW degree from SP2 in 2010. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rowan University. Prior to joining the admissions staff at SP2, Ms. Ezell was employed as a child welfare social worker in both direct and macro practice settings working with children, adolescents, and families for over 12 years. Ms. Ezell served as principle liaison at the Department of Human Services for the Achieving Reunification Center servicing families seeking reunification with their children in foster care. Ms. Ezell has a diverse background in social work including child welfare, program management, trauma, addiction, curriculum development, and group facilitation. Her scholarly and practice interests include interagency collaboration in child welfare, LGBTQ youth in foster care, addictions, group psychotherapy, and shame resilience theory.
