Adiza Ezell

Adiza M. Ezell, MSW

  • Adiza M. Ezell serves as the Director of Admissions and Recruitment at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2). In this role, she leads the school’s admissions strategy, recruitment initiatives, and supports prospective students in navigating the application process.

    Ms. Ezell earned her Master of Social Work degree from SP2 in 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rowan University. Before joining SP2’s admissions team, she spent more than 12 years as a child welfare social worker in both direct practice and macro-level settings, working with children, adolescents, and families. During this time, she also served as a principal liaison at the Department of Human Services for the Achieving Reunification Center, assisting families seeking reunification with children in foster care.

    Her professional background spans child welfare, program management, curriculum development, and trauma-informed clinical group facilitation. Ms. Ezell’s current scholarly and practice interests focus on fostering a sense of belonging and overall well-being among college students. She remains deeply committed to equity and access in academic communities and to creating spaces where individuals can realize their potential and drive meaningful change.
