A Better Way to Reduce Domestic Violence in the NFL

“My research over 40 years including national surveys of family violence suggests that 4%—about 80—of them will perpetrate an act of intimate-partner violence each year,” Richard Gelles, PhD, The Joanne and Raymond Welsh Chair of Child Welfare and Family Violence, explained in a recent opinion piece for the Wall Street Journal.
Gelles suggested the NFL learn from the U.S. military, who experienced a similar problem in 1990s.
