Sparsh is currently pursuing a dual degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Social Policy with Data Analytics at the University of Pennsylvania as a Social Justice Scholar. His interest lies in exploring the transformative potential of Universal Basic Income and Unconditional Cash Transfers in the fight against poverty.
Prior to his second master’s and transitioning from the corporate sector, Sparsh worked as a Senior State Coordinator at the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. In this role, he conducted extensive field visits and collaborated closely with numerous NGOs receiving grants from the Ministry. His primary responsibilities also included seamless coordination with senior officials at both the state and central government levels, facilitating the effective implementation of various government schemes.
As a Chief Minister Good Governance Associate (CMGGA) for the state of Haryana, Sparsh played an instrumental role in implementing projects spanning education, employment, women’s safety, and more while working closely with the district administration of Hisar.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Sparsh finds inspiration in interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds who share the same values of equity and justice. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching stand-up comedy and playing chess.
