Dissertation: Exploring the Role of Financial Incentives to Promote Adherence to Anti-Retroviral Medication in PLWHA
Sambuddha Chaudhuri is a fourth-year student in SP2’s Ph.D. program in Social Welfare. His research interests include health behavior in sexual minority and economically marginalized population, social determinants of health and well-being particularly in HIV/AIDS, STIs and mental health, and international healthcare and social welfare interventions. His prior experience as a primary care physician working in both rural and urban settings in India informs his research, which adopts an interdisciplinary approach to social work, clinical care, public health and anthropology. Sambuddha received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Midnapore Medical College, India.
