Hallela Hinton-Williams is a Master of Science in Social Policy (MSSP) student and a 2023-24 Social Justice Scholar. In 2021, she received her BA in Spanish and Religious Studies with a concentration in American Studies from Grinnell College.
To SP2, she brings her experience in nonprofit management, community development strategy, and educational innovation from her role as Operations Manager at the Center for Black Educator Development. Prior to this role, she developed her knowledge in non-profit admin and school improvement strategy via her experience at BARR Center (Building Assets, Reducing Risks) and KIPP DC.
After receiving her MSSP degree, Hallela hopes to focus on community development initiatives, program evaluation, and educational justice advocacy. In her free time, Hallela enjoys reading, writing, and discovering new music.
