Stephanie Bianchini, MSS, LCSW

Stephanie Bianchini, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and doctoral candidate in Clinical Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania. She is dually licensed in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and maintains a thriving private practice specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and body image concerns. Stephanie’s clinical approach integrates psychodynamic psychotherapy, feminist theory, and relational practice, emphasizing the embodied and intergenerational dimensions of healing.

Stephanie earned her master’s degree in social work from Bryn Mawr’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research in 2018 and holds a postgraduate certificate in psychodynamic psychotherapy. She is passionate about training and mentorship within the field and aims to contribute to the development of theory and practice that honors the complex intersections of embodiment, identity, and relational life.

Research Interests
Stephanie’s doctoral research examines the intergenerational transmission of eating disorders between mothers and daughters, with a particular focus on how unconscious and relational processes shape the ways body and food experiences are inherited.
