  • Julie Davis is a Program Coordinator for the Center for High Impact Philanthropy (CHIP) at the School of Social Policy and Practice. Before joining CHIP, Julie served as a Project Coordinator at the Penn Center for Community Health Workers within Penn Medicine, a center that birthed IMPaCT, the leading evidence-based intervention in the U.S. for addressing health inequity and social determinants of health.

    Julie brings experience with a variety of community-oriented Philadelphia-based nonprofits including but not limited to immigration, community health, environmental sustainability, fair trade, and urban youth education and food systems.

    Julie earned her BA in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University and is passionate about the relationship between holistic health (individual and community-based) and contemporary social issues. She is currently pursuing a certification to become a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach from Wellcoaches and the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching. She serves as a steering committee member for Fair Trade Philadelphia, Philadelphia’s largest fair trade organization. She is a passionate vegan and animal rights activist, loves nature, electronic music, photography, and weight lifting.
