Henisha Patel, MSW

  • Henisha Patel, MSW is the Associate Director of the Center for Guaranteed Income Research (CGIR), where she helps manage and improve internal operations and external business and communications practices.

    Henisha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Boston College and a Master of Social Work from University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice (SP2). While at SP2, she pursued a macro concentration, participated in the Goldring Reentry Initiative, and was a Graduate Associate at Stouffer College House.

    Prior to joining CGIR, Henisha worked as a Senior Project Manager at Public Health Management Corporation, where she led the evaluation of several city- and state-level public health initiatives, including programs to improve nutrition and food access, maternal and child health, substance use, and more for people living on the margins. Henisha also worked as a Forensic Case Manager at Access Services, Inc., where she provided clinical support to adults living with a serious mental illness and experiencing incarceration or other criminal justice involvement.
