Daniel is a third-year PhD student at the School of Social Policy and Practice. His research interests include the effects of religious organizations on their communities, volunteerism in both secular and religious arenas, social innovation, and the social responsibilities of corporations. His most recent works have explored these interests with respect to COVID-19.
Daniel returns to the University of Pennsylvania after receiving his Master of Social Work from the School of Social Policy and Practice in 2018. He received his Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2017. Prior to pursuing his doctorate, he worked as a therapist in the field of addiction and substance abuse.
