Danielle Jenkins (she/her) is a Danielle Jenkins (she/her) is pursuing a Master of Science in Social Policy and Data Analytics for Social Policy Certificate at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice. Her academic focus is on economic justice, and she has interests in labor, welfare, transportation, housing, urban planning, and narrative storytelling. She currently works as a research assistant at the Center for Guaranteed Income Research and with Dr. Ioana Marinescu. In 2023, she graduated with a B.A. in from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University with certificates in Statistics & Machine Learning and Creative Writing. She has professional policy research experience from internships at Oxfam America and the Urban Institute. Additionally, she has political communication analytics and labor issue research experience from her time as a Research and Analytics Specialist at Working America, AFL-CIO in Washington, D.C. Danielle is interested in quantitative research as a narrative tool and wants to explore more data driven storytelling methods. After graduation from SP2, she wants to continue working in policy research and developing public facing projects. Outside of school she loves to make art in various mediums, listen to audiobooks, design stickers, and travel by rail.
