Emily Rich, LSW

As the Administrative Coordinator, Emily supports the academic mission of the school across intersecting areas pertaining to the PhD Program and special projects in the Dean’s Office. Emily earned her BA in Criminal Justice from Temple University in 2016 and Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020. Prior to joining SP2 fulltime, Emily provided instructional support as a teaching assistant at SP2 and guest lecturer for SP2’s Pipeline for Promise Program. She also has experience as clinical supervisor in outpatient mental health and provided clinical support and case management for incarcerated people. She is an adjunct instructor of Criminal Justice at Temple University and was appointed to the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Advisory Board in 2022.
