Biography

Julie Davis is a Program Coordinator for the Center for High Impact Philanthropy (CHIP) at the School of Social Policy and Practice. Before joining CHIP, Julie served as a Project Coordinator at the Penn Center for Community Health Workers within Penn Medicine, a center that birthed IMPaCT, the leading evidence-based intervention in the U.S. for addressing health inequity and social determinants of health.

Julie brings experience with a variety of community-oriented Philadelphia-based nonprofits including but not limited to immigration, community health, environmental sustainability, fair trade, and urban youth education and food systems.

Julie earned her BA in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University and is passionate about the relationship between health and contemporary social issues. She received her certification as a health and wellness coach through Wellcoaches and is currently pursuing a certification in Lifestyle Medicine also through Wellcoaches. In her personal life, she is passionate about veganism, photography, nature, music, and weight lifting.
