Francesca Pugh-Opher, PhD

Francesca Pugh-Opher, PhD, is a part-time academic advisor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) and serves as a full time Associate Director of Advising at the Wharton School. Francesca draws on her varied experiences in teaching and academic advising to inform her advising practices. Francesca is passionate about empowering students and helping students achieve their educational and career goals. Francesca earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Temple University, her M.A. in Elementary Education from Arcadia University, her M.A. in Public Administration, and a Ph.D. in Education from Walden University. Outside of work, Francesca enjoys traveling abroad, learning French, and cuddling with her 4 cats.
