Antoine Germain is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice, where he teaches MSSP 6680: Economics for Social Policy. His research lies at the intersection of public economics, labor economics, and social choice theory. He has written on the effects of working hours regulations in monopsonistic labor markets, the desirability of universal basic income in relation to equality of opportunity, and the measurement of standards of living and purchasing power parity.
Antoine holds a PhD in Economics from UCLouvain, an MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, and a MRes and BSc in Economics from UCLouvain.
