Anna is a third-year PhD student studying migration and social welfare, with an emphasis on how immigration statuses shape the lives of refugees and immigrants. Her dissertation research explores how different humanitarian protection statuses (both permanent and temporary statuses) impact the lives of Syrians residing in the US. Anna has also conducted research on volunteering with refugees and other forced migrant groups.
