During her doctoral studies, she has been awarded a prestigious scholarship from the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies.
Her experiences working in a Clubhouse and a psychiatric hospital have shaped her interest in the recovery of individuals with psychiatric disabilities and the development of community-based mental rehabilitation services. Her research explores the interconnections among recovery, stigma, service environments, self-determination, and human rights. Through her work, she aims to advance a more comprehensive and compassionate understanding of psychiatric disability and recovery.”
