Subin Na is a Ph.D. candidate in Social Welfare at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice. Her research examines how mental health service systems and their workforce shape recovery, access to care, and sustained engagement, increasingly through the lens of how technology reshapes the way care is sought and delivered. Her dissertation analyzes a national corpus of online job postings for peer specialist positions. Using structural topic modeling, she measures how employers configure the role, and through three-level models across postings, employers, and states, she links those configurations to employer characteristics, state policy environments, and offered salaries. Her work appears in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal and Administration and Policy in Mental Health and Mental Health Services Research, and has received an Honorable Mention for the CSWE Disability Manuscript Award.
