SUMMARY:Understanding Disability Services at Penn and Best Practices for Supporting Disabled and Neurodivergent Students
DESCRIPTION:Hybrid Continuing Education Presentation being offered to SP2 community partners working with students across SP2 programs. \nThis session will introduce Disability Services at Penn and accessibility topics more broadly. Participants will receive an overview of services provided at the Weingarten Center\, the process for requesting accommodations\, and common types of student requests. Will discuss best practices for working with students who identify as disabled and/or neurodivergent in the classroom and at practicum/internship sites. \n*Approved for Social Work participants to receive 2.0 PA CEUs for attending the presentation and completing a post survey.
