Translational Research and Policy Symposium

Keynote Speaker: Understanding & Engaging Communities: What Do We Mean By Health Equity? by Cornell P. Wright, MPA, Executive Director, North Carolina Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities

The Translational Research and Policy Symposium is a part of the Contemporary Issues in Health and Social Policy course (N334/N540) within the School of Nursing. This event will bring together the Penn health professions schools to view the collaborative work of students who interned with community-serving agencies on health policy initiatives. This year’s agency partners are as follows: The City of Denver, Penn Transplant House, and 1st Decisions Barber Shop. Students will present their work from this semester’s collaborations.
