Hosted by Ben Jealous, Visiting Scholar, Annenberg School for Communication, Carey Law School, and School of Social Policy & Practice and President, People for the American Way, this four-part series will focus on how data-informed social policy and evidence-based practice in social work are being used to identify and design solutions for the complex social problems in America today.
Each 60-minute session will include an introduction by Ben Jealous followed by a presentation. The program will conclude with a Q&A and closing remarks from Ben Jealous.
The first event of the series, “Race, AI & the New Frontier for Civil Rights,” takes place on January 13, 2021, 12 – 1 pm, and will feature SP2 Associate Professor Ezekiel Dixon-Roman, PhD and Mutale Nkonde, CEO of AI for the People. Please register here.
