SP2 Penn Top 10 Talk: A post-election discussion on social justice & policy issues

John L. Jackson, Jr., dean of the School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) at the University of Pennsylvania will lead a dynamic panel of renowned faculty experts from SP2 – Penn’s social justice school – as they analyze some of the nation’s most pressing matters and discuss how we can, and how the next presidential administration should, strategically address these issues.
The event will also feature guest panelist Joseph Watkins, who has served as a regular political analyst for MSNBC, CNBC and Al Jazeera and a former White House aide to United States President George H. W. Bush.
The compelling panel discussion will take place in conjunction with the release of Social Policy and Social Justice – an academic volume edited by Jackson and published by Penn Press.
Social Policy and Social Justice is the final component of the SP2 Penn Top 10 initiative – www.PennTopTen.com – a multimodal initiative launched in 2016 designed to educate, enlighten, and empower voters and policymakers from all walks of life leading up to the 2016 presidential election and beyond.
