Kiera Kenney graduated from the School of Social Policy and Practice with her MSW in 2013. She is Manager of Health and Social Services at the African Family Health Organization in Philadelphia, where she works with immigrants and refugees. She previously worked in Lusaka, Zambia as a Community Learning Operations Officer with CHAMP Zambia, a comprehensive HIV program. She is a Global Health Corps Alum.
Ishraga Dousa was a family doctor in Sudan before coming to the U.S. Today she works as a case manager and peer educator at the African Family Health Organization in Philadelphia. She works with immigrants and refugees of the African Diaspora and educates a diversity of audiences on female genital cutting locally and nationally.
Indrias G. Kasseye graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992, where he studied economics and international relations. He is a communication specialist, filmmaker and writer working in development and humanitarian contexts. He has worked for UNICEF and other NGOs in Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and South Africa. His work amplifies the voices of children, families and vulnerable communities so they can share their stories to the global audience.
