Allante M. Moon (she/her) is a Provost Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Social Policy & Practice. Dr. Moon’s research focuses on racialized trauma and its impact on Black women and other minoritized populations within educational settings. Dr. Moon will work under the guidance of DeMarcus A. Jenkins. Drawing on her interdisciplinary expertise, she plans to examine health policy implications, and healing practices for racially minoritized individuals.
Dr. Moon earned her dual PhD in Higher Education and Comparative and International Education from the Pennsylvania State University. She received a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Behavior Health Education (HBHE) from the University of Michigan. She holds a BS in Health Administration and minor in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University.
