Vanessa Martinez Penn, MS. Ed.

Vanessa Martinez Penn is the Online Coordinator for the Non-Profit Leadership program. She completed her Master’s degree in Higher Education at UPenn’s Graduate School of Education, where she studied postsecondary education access for students from underrepresented backgrounds. Since then, Vanessa has worked with Penn Medicine’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Learner (IDEAL) Research office, as well as the Upward Bound program, which supports first-generation and low-income high school students in Philadelphia as they navigate the college application process. She has also served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Camilo José Cela University in Madrid, Spain. At NPL, Vanessa is excited to work with a diverse group of students from all over the world and to provide support to the entire SP2 community. She looks forward to meeting you!
