
Eda Kauffman, MSW, LCSW
Eda Kauffman began working in 2013 as the Associate Director of Field Education at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice where she also received her MSW. Her professional background includes over 20 years of administrative and clinical work in the areas of addiction, trauma, domestic violence, and homelessness. She has supervised over 30 MSW students over 15 years and worked as a Field Liaison for over 11 years. Within the context of agency work she has supervised therapists, hotline staff, residential support staff, childcare staff, and case managers. She has supported two agencies in implementing the Sanctuary Model, a trauma-informed method of creating, sustaining and changing an organizational culture. In 2011 she received the Deb Snyder Award from the Sanctuary Institute for her commitment to and knowledge of the Institute’s mission. She lives in Philadelphia where she is raising three girls.
