SUMMARY:MSSP/NPL Lunch & Learn -- Intergenerational Collaboration to Promote Multilateralism in Evolving International Policy and Project Landscape
DESCRIPTION:The Workshop on “Intergenerational Collaboration to Promote Multilateralism in Evolving International Policy and Project Landscape” aims to discuss the evolving landscape and potential futures of international development shaped by UN80 reports and transformations as well as Member States engagements. As we have marched over 2/3 of our way towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) yet the progress is not close to 2/3 of the expected outcomes\, there is greater emphasis on multilateralism and the broader topic on “how we can work together” as one world\, among different stakeholders\, and representing different sectoral interests at both policy and project levels. Hope this Workshop can bring inspirations to everyone.

SUMMARY:NPL Lunch & Learn – Climate Justice as a Social Impact Imperative
DESCRIPTION:Climate change is not only an environmental issue—it is a profound social justice challenge that impacts the health\, safety\, and economic security of communities\, especially those already facing systemic inequities. This session will explore climate justice as a social impact imperative\, focusing on how nonprofits can lead in building resilience and advancing equity through their missions and operations. Led by Maya Bornstein\, Program Manager at Green Building United\, the workshop will highlight lessons from the Climate Ready Capital Projects Program\, which supports community-serving nonprofits in addressing climate risks to their buildings and green spaces. Participants will learn how organizations are addressing climate risks in community-serving facilities while advancing broader goals of justice\, equity\, and sustainability\, as well as explore practical strategies for weaving climate justice into nonprofit missions\, values\, and outcomes.

SUMMARY:Ethical Storytelling: Avoiding Savior Narratives
DESCRIPTION:Nonprofits use stories to raise money and share their mission. But sometimes\, stories can accidentally send the wrong message\, making the nonprofit or donor look like the “hero” instead of focusing on the people and communities being served. This workshop will help students learn how to tell stories that show respect\, dignity\, and agency\, while still connecting with funders and supporters. Through examples and hands-on activities\, participants will practice spotting savior narratives and rewriting them into stories that are honest\, respectful\, and meaningful.

SUMMARY:NPL Lunch & Learn – AI & Technology for Nonprofits
DESCRIPTION:How can artificial intelligence (AI) help nonprofits create lasting social impact while staying true to their mission? In this workshop\, we will introduce the basics of AI and explore how it can transform fundraising\, grantmaking\, program delivery\, and operation efficiency within the nonprofit sector. You will see real-world examples of how nonprofits are already using AI to drive meaningful change and scale their efforts. \nBut with great potential comes great responsibility.
